What we do

Recurring janitorial services, plus one-time commercial cleaning

Janitorial service is routine, scheduled cleaning that keeps a workplace clean day to day, usually after hours. Commercial cleaning is the wider term: it also covers one-time deep cleans, end-of-lease cleans and project work. Our commercial cleaning services cover both.

Our core service

Recurring janitorial service

Our commercial janitorial services are scheduled visits, nightly, several times a week or weekly, done to a written checklist by the same core team. This is what most of our commercial clients have.

  • Washrooms cleaned, disinfected and restocked
  • Kitchens and break rooms
  • Floors vacuumed, swept and mopped
  • High-touch points disinfected every visit
  • Waste, recycling and compost taken to your building’s bins
  • Entrances, glass and reception kept presentable

One-time & deep cleaning

A full reset when routine cleaning isn’t enough: seasonal deep cleans, cleans before an opening, and clean-up after events.

Tenant move-in & move-out

End-of-lease cleaning for commercial units, so the space is ready for handover, inspection or opening day.

Disinfection & hygiene

High-touch disinfection, washroom descaling and odour control, using Health Canada–approved (DIN) disinfectants as their labels direct.

Day porter

A daytime attendant who keeps washrooms, lobbies and kitchens in shape while you’re open, and handles spills as they happen.

Floor care

Machine scrubbing, strip and wax, and carpet extraction, scheduled around your opening hours.

Supplies & inspections

We can restock paper, soap and liners, and send you a short report after each supervisor inspection.

Facilities we clean

Offices, stores, plazas and shared buildings

Most of our commercial work is in offices, retail units and strip malls. If your space is different, ask us. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

Shared buildings & common areas

Building cleaning services for lobbies, corridors, elevators and common washrooms in multi-tenant buildings.

Industrial & warehouse offices

Offices, lunchrooms, washrooms and locker rooms. Not production lines or hazardous-materials areas.

Medical & professional suites

Waiting rooms, offices and washrooms. Clinical processes and medical waste stay with the clinic.

Community & event spaces

Halls, places of worship and community centres, including clean-ups after events.

Recurring cleaning

How often should your workplace be cleaned?

Most workplaces need cleaning somewhere between once a week and every night. Washrooms, kitchens and foot traffic usually decide it. We recommend a schedule at the walkthrough, and you can change it as your needs change.

Light use

1–2 visits a week

Typical for: small offices with a few staff, and professional suites with little client traffic.

Focus: washrooms, kitchen, waste and floors, with a rotating weekly detail task.

Regular use

3–5 visits a week

Typical for: busy offices, and stores or services with customers every day.

Focus: everything in light use, plus high-touch disinfection and entrance glass on every visit.

Heavy use

Nightly service

Typical for: large and multi-floor offices, high-traffic stores and shared buildings.

Focus: the full scope every night, regular supervisor checks, and an optional day porter.

Need a one-time clean instead? We also do deep cleans, pre-opening cleans and end-of-lease cleans. Ask about a one-time clean.

Pricing

How much does commercial cleaning cost?

It depends on your space and your schedule. After a short walkthrough we send a written price for an agreed scope, so the price matches the work. Optional: Most small offices start from $X per visit.

The area we clean

The rooms and floors in your scope, not the whole building.

How often we visit

Visits per week, and how long each one takes.

Washrooms and kitchens

Usually the biggest share of the work on each visit.

Floor types

Carpet, tile, vinyl and concrete each need different care.

How busy the space is

Staff numbers and customer traffic through the day.

Your cleaning window

Evening, early-morning or weekend timing.

Special areas

Showrooms, glass walls, fitting rooms or equipment rooms.

Who supplies consumables

Whether you buy paper and soap, or we restock them.

Why we don’t quote per square foot over the phone

Two 3,000 sq ft offices can need very different work. One has a single washroom and carpet throughout; the other has four washrooms, a staff kitchen and tile floors. Pricing the agreed scope keeps the quote fair for both.

FAQs

Commercial cleaning questions

Can’t find your answer? Call 604-000-0000 or request a callback.

What’s the difference between janitorial service and commercial cleaning?

Janitorial service is routine, scheduled cleaning, such as nightly or weekly visits, that keeps a workplace clean day to day. Commercial cleaning is the wider term. It includes janitorial work, plus one-time jobs such as deep cleans, end-of-lease cleans and clean-ups after events.

Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Agreements run month to month after the first X months, with 30 days’ notice to cancel.

Can you take over from our current commercial cleaners without a gap?

Yes. We plan your start date around your current provider’s notice period, and can schedule a first deep clean to reset the space.

How soon can you start?

Walkthroughs can be booked from the next business day, Monday to Friday. You’ll get a written scope and price, and cleaning usually starts within X business days of an accepted proposal.

Are your cleaners insured and screened?

Aura Fresh carries $X commercial general liability insurance and is registered with WorkSafeBC. Every team member passes a criminal record check before working on client sites. We can send a certificate of insurance and a WorkSafeBC clearance letter on request.

What happens if something is missed?

Tell your account contact within 24 hours by phone, text or email. We’ll fix it within one business day at no charge and note it in your quality log.

Can someone clean during business hours?

Most janitorial cleaning happens outside your opening hours so it doesn’t interrupt your work. If you need help during the day, our day porter service keeps washrooms, lobbies and kitchens tidy while you’re open.

Do you clean warehouses and industrial units?

We clean the offices, lunchrooms, washrooms and locker rooms in warehouses and light-industrial units. Warehouse floors need a ride-on scrubber, so ask us whether we can take that on. We don’t clean production lines or hazardous-materials areas.
